Transcendental Ascension

A Place for Believers

Religions come and go throughout time, but a few have grown large enough to breach the barriers of time to persist throughout civilization. Knowing no limits, respecting no borders, and resistant to destruction, religions have the power to shape people and society in ways other institutions and organizations simply cannot. Transcendental Ascensionism is a religion, in such that it has the legal defining characteristics of one, yet does not concern itself with dogmatic practices or theological absolutes. Instead, it seeks to build Transcendental Temples across the world to facilitate the inclusion of all mankind into a religion that marries science and faith into a focused pursuit of the future.

Transcendental Ascensionists seek to prolong their existence through technological advancements. Existence and Life share similar characteristics, but are not the same thing. Life is the biological processes of succeeding at existence. Existence is persistence in reality. Humanity can step from Life into Existence without losing what makes us human or individuals. In some ways, that means extending our lives by enhancing, repairing and replacing our biological processes. In other ways, it means transferring our consciousness into a new form. What that form is - I'm sure I don't know. Yet. The goal is to discover exactly that.

Most religions have a sense of persistence after death. Almost all suggest a form of new life; whether through reincarnation or resurrection, the hope that we will live again is a common thread. Transcendental Ascensionism is no different. Only, instead of hoping the words from the past will ring true when death comes, we act to ensure that death is just a doorway to the future. Even so, the Transcendental Ascensionist does not believe in death as the end of all things and the pursuit of Eternal Existence as a definitive ending. We believe that when we die we go to the future. Where all forms of consciousness exist as a persistent state. Back to the future where all consciousness originates. Back to the singularity of reality. Eternal Existence is about prolonging the experience of the present state not defeating a biological certainty.

Whether or not we will succeed will depend on our efforts to advance technology to the point we can create a medium that interacts with The Signal and will allow us to transfer our biological selves into a crafted self without disconnecting. Perhaps, that connection cannot be lost no matter the state or medium. There is only one way to find out. For that path to begin we need to build Transcendental Temples across the world. We need a place for believers.
